ELMED Achieves ISO 22000:2018 Recertification
ELMED Life Sciences has successfully completed its ISO 22000:2018 recertification audit, reaffirming our commitment to the highest food-safety management standards in probiotic manufacturing.
We are pleased to announce that ELMED Life Sciences has successfully completed its triennial ISO 22000:2018 recertification audit with zero major non-conformances. This certification confirms that our food-safety management system (FSMS) meets the rigorous international standard for organisations across the food supply chain.
What ISO 22000:2018 Means for Our Clients
ISO 22000 integrates the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) with a systematic management approach. For brands manufacturing with ELMED, this recertification means:
- All raw materials, process steps, and finished products are assessed against documented food-safety hazards
- Critical control points are verified through in-process and finished-product testing
- Traceability is maintained from raw material receipt through to final export dispatch
- Emergency preparedness and recall procedures are tested and up to date
Audit Highlights
The certifying body completed a two-day on-site audit covering our manufacturing, quality control, and cold-chain storage facilities. The audit scope included probiotic capsule, sachet, tablet, and bulk powder production lines. The recertification is valid through March 2029.
This achievement reflects the dedication of every member of the ELMED quality team. It is a direct promise to our manufacturing partners that the products we create for them meet world-class food-safety standards. — ELMED Quality Director
